Allyson Beth Seaux, 21, passed away at her residence in Iowa, Louisiana on Sunday, September 21, 2014.
Allyson was born in Jennings on September 16, 1993 to Debbie and Ronald Seaux.
Allyson was welcomed into Heaven by her Heavenly Father with her Earthly Father, Ronald Seaux. Her life opened many doors to Down Syndrome awareness. She was the apple of her parents' eyes. She brought great joy to many people's lives and she blessed many with her laughter and smiles. She loved her afternoon cruises with her big brother, Aaron, and her time spent walking daily with her caretaker, Kathy Manuel.
Allyson was very involved in the Up-4 Downs of SW LA; Step Up 4 Downs Syndrome Family Fun Day and Buddy Ball. She was named Honorary Homecoming Queen for Buddy Ball. She loved playing in the pool with her family and on her trampoline.
Survivors include her mother, Debbie Smith Seaux; brothers, Aaron Seaux and Cody O'Blanc; sisters, Penny Seaux and Angie Bourgeois Bertrand. She had adopted Parker Vaughan, Camrin Firestone, Jay Jacquet and Justin Silva-Gilland as her "special brothers". She also loved her long-time caretaker, Kathy Manuel, and her best friend, Laekyn Johnson. Allyson is also survived by her future step-father, Timothy Douget, she was his “puddin pop”. She is preceded in death by her father, Ronald Seaux.
