Andrea Butler Kershaw , 66 passed away on Monday, April 3, 2017 in a local hospital.
Andrea was born on June 11, 1950 to Glade and Raymond Butler. She was a native of Crowley, Louisiana and graduated from Crowley High School. She attended McNeese State University. Andrea worked for the Calcasieu Parish Clerk of Court until the time of her death. She was a devout Catholic and was a member of St. Margaret Catholic Church. Andrea was a very loving and giving person, taking care of everyone else before herself.
Left to cherish her memory are one son, Stephen Kershaw of Lake Charles; one daughter, Amanda Picard and husband Brad of Lake Charles; grandson, Stephen Russell Kershaw of Lake Charles and furry son, Spike.
She was preceded in death by her father, Raymond Butler; mother, Glade Lafleur Butler; sister, Glade Madeline Butler; husband Eddie Kershaw and furry son, Ziggy.
Her funeral will be Tuesday, April 4, 2017 1:00PM at St. Margaret Catholic Church. Father Marcus Johnson will officiate. Burial will be in Consolata Cemetery under the direction of Johnson Funeral Home. Visitation will be Tuesday, April 4, 2017 beginning at 9:00AM with a rosary at Noon at Johnson Funeral Home.
