Andrew Lawrence Hurt

Andrew Lawrence Hurt, 28, of Lake Charles passed away Tuesday, December 22, 2015 in his home.

Andrew was born in St. Joseph, Missouri, raised in Kansas and has lived 4 years in Lake Charles. He served seven years and two tours for the United States Army, 2006 Operation Iraqi Freedom and 2010 Operation Iraqi Freedom. He worked for Chicago Bridge and Iron as a Machinist. Andrew enjoyed fishing, working on his car and time spent with his German Sheppard "Ivan". He will be most remembered for his personality and his ability to make others laugh.

He leaves to honor his memory, his wife and best friend, Andrea Hurt of Lake Charles; two sons, Jaxson Irey- Hurt and Ronin Hurt of Wellington, KS and his mother, Lillian Small of Derby, KS.

He was preceded in death by his father, William Lawrence Hurt.

In respect of Andrew's wishes, services under the direction of Johnson Funeral Home will be private.
