Iowa ~ Angela J. Simoneaux, born March 11, 1970, daughter of the late Joseph and Loretta (Hantz) Simoneaux, passed away in her residence after a lengthy illness on Monday, February 8, 2021, at the age of 50.
Angela was a graduate of Parkview and a member of New Faith Tabernacle in Welsh. She was employed as an EMT with Acadian Ambulance. Angela enjoyed fishing, crafts, riding motorcycles and loved spending time with her grandchildren.
Angela is survived by her husband, Daniel Fontenot; sons, Courtland Simoneaux (Helen), Ashland Miller (Jessica), Dalton Miller (Alexis), Michael Miller; daughter, Vanessa Fontenot; siblings, David Simoneaux (Lou Ann), Jennie Mernard, Charlotte Silhan (Dale), Stacey Cook (Mike); 10 grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 13, 2021 at 4 p.m. in Johnson & Brown Funeral Home of Iowa. Pastor Hoye Folks, Chaplain of Bon Ami ~ Bro. Travis Dixon, officiants. Cremation will follow the service. Visitation will begin at 12 p.m. in the funeral home.
