Angela Marie Veronie Theriot, born on February 2, 1954, daughter of Humert and Helen Low Veronie, passed away Friday, April 16, 2021, at the age of 67.
Angela was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend to all who knew her. She never met a stranger. She enjoyed baking, cooking and had excellent sewing skills. Her greatest joy was caring for children.
She is preceded in death by her father, Humert Veronie; grandmother, Sue Low Matte, and father-in-law, Huey Theriot.
Angela is survived by her husband of 36 years, Kenneth Theriot; mother, Helen Low Veronie; children, Carey Don Sonnier (Tiffany); Ryan Sonnier; Devon Theriot; DeLayne LaBove (Jacques Boutte); siblings, Trudy Aucoin; Jimmy Veronie (Laura); mother-in-law, Lovena “T-Toot” Theriot; grandchildren, Jade Theriot; Brandt Sonnier; Jaren Sonnier; Layne Theriot; Riley Sonnier; Grayson LaBove; Alex Sonnier; Grace Sonnier; great-grandchild, Asher Theriot.
Funeral services will be in Johnson & Brown Funeral Home of Iowa on Monday, April 19, 2021 at 6 p.m. Rev. Roland Vaughn, Celebrant. Visitation will begin at 4 p.m. until the rosary at 5:30 p.m. Cremation will follow the services under the direction of Johnson & Brown Funeral Home of Iowa.
Due to Covid, food will not be allowed in the funeral home.
