Angelia Marie Fontenot was born on October 4, 1967, in Port Sulfur to Shelby Roy Fontenot and Sadie A. Cox. Angelia passed away in a local nursing home on May 23, 2022, at the age of 54 years.
Angelia attended South Beauregard High School. Angelia resided in Ragley; Waldron, Arkansas; and many other places. She enjoyed being with family and friends, loved to watch TV especially football and golf, and enjoyed taking pictures of her pets. She collected stuffed bears and ball caps.
Angelia is preceded in death by her parents, Ora Guidry, Marie Inez Guidry, and Raymond L. Guidry.
Angelia is survived by her aunt, Nelda Guidry Baggett; cousin and godchild, Laura Baggett Drury; cousins, Elizabeth Drury, Ramie Guidry, and many other cousins.
Memorial graveside services were held July 27, 2022 at Consolata Cemetery.
Cremation was entrusted to Johnson & Brown Funeral Home of Iowa.
