Angelina Lunasin Santos

Angelina Lunasin Santos, 70, of Lake Charles passed away at 10:18 AM on Thursday, June 27, 2019 in a local hospital.

Ms. Santos was born on May 8, 1949 in Kawit, Cavite, Philippines. She earned two master’s degrees and later continued her education at the University of the Philippines where she received her PhD. While residing in the Philippines she worked for the US Navy for 20 years before working at Columban College in Olongapo City as a human resource director and a professor. Ms. Santos moved to Lake Charles 20 years ago where she owned and operated Alterations and More.

She enjoyed being outdoors and gardening.

Those left to cherish her memory are a son, Don Reyes (Rachel) of the Philippines; a sister, Violeta Santos Briscoe (Sidney III) of Lake Charles; and grandchildren, Alexis Nicole and Andrea Frances Reyes of the Philippines.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Antero and Catalina Santos.

Cremation was entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home.
