Anna Elaine Fontenot, 80 was called home Oct. 27, 2016 surrounded by her loving family.
Our mother was a lifelong resident of Lake Charles, La. A 1954 Graduate of LaGrange High School, where she loved dancing as a Gatorette, playing the cymbals in the band as well as a member of the Dance team. She attended St. Margaret’s Church and raised her children in the Catholic faith. She was a loving mother and our best friend. She raised and supported us as a single mother providing us with the tools and wisdom to be who we are today. She was a woman who greeted people with a smile and was loved and respected by all those that crossed her path. She showed us how life should be lived and cherished
with every day she graced us as our mother. She was known as WW meaning Wonder Woman to her daughters many friends, providing them a safe haven to form a lifelong friendship that is just as strong today as it was thirty-five years ago. Good thing her dining room table can’t talk isn’t it girls? Our mother became a grandmother and found
her love for them was as genuine as with her own children giving them the loving memories that will last their lifetime. Our mother will be dearly missed but her love for all of us will be carried in our hearts until we are able to see her loving smile once again.
Elaine is survived by her children; her son, Todd Perrodin of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla. and his children, Christopher Perrodin of New York, New York and Lauren Perrodin of Dover, New Hampshire; son David Perrodin and wife Mindy of Lake Charles and their children, Brittany and LeAnn Perrodin, both of Lake Charles, La.; daughter Kim Perrodin of New Orleans, La. She is preceded in death by the love of her life, Don (T-Don)
Fontenot, and her first born son, Curtis John Perrodin (Noke) III.
