Anna Belle Marcantel, 94, passed away, June 11, 2016.
Anna was born in Bell City to the late John Fontenot and Lorena Chesson on December 12, 1921. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Church in Jennings. Anna worked for Jennings Garment Factory then later for Wal-Mart.
Her survivors are her son, Kenneth Marcantel, and wife, Jennifer; 3 nephews and 1 niece. Preceding her in death are her husband, John Marcantel; parents and step-father, Kenny Reed.
Visitation begins Sunday, June 12, 2016, in Johnson & Brown Funeral Home of Iowa from 5:30p.m.–8p.m., with a rosary at 7p.m. Visitation will resume Monday in the funeral home from 9a.m. until the time of service.
Funeral services are Monday, June 13, 2016 in the funeral home at 10a.m., with Father Charles McMillin officiating. Burial will follow in LeFranc Cemetery under the direction of Johnson & Brown Funeral Home.
