Welsh – Anna Mae Theunissen, daughter of Alexson and Agnes (Breaux) Simon, born July 20, 1935, passed away Saturday, January 13, 2018, at the age of 82.
Funeral services are Monday, January 15, 2018 at 10 a.m. in Johnson & Brown Funeral Home – Iowa with Father Roland Vaughn officiating. Burial will follow in LeBleu Cemetery – Fenton. Visitation is Sunday from 4 p.m. – 8 p.m., with a rosary at 6 p.m. in the funeral home and will resume Monday from 8 a.m. until the time of service.
Anna enjoyed cooking for her family (she was an excellent cook!), sewing and watching television.
She is survived by her children, Debbie Nutt (Patrick), Jennifer “Liz” Broussard (Saul), Mitchell Theunissen, Connie Trahan (Charles), William Richard, Jr. (Linda) and Lisa Duplechin (Ted); 13 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, Alexson and Agnes Simon; husband, William Richard, Sr.; son, Scott Anthony Theunissen; siblings, Johnny Simon, Clovis Simon, Bertha Boudreaux and Joyce Simon.
