Annie Lou Cox

Annie Lou Cox, 93 of Gillis passed on September 14, 2015 in Lake Charles. She belonged to St. Theodore Catholic Church, loved to cook, sew, bake and play cards. Annie is survived by her two daughters, Geraldine Cole of Gillis and Cheryl Austin of Houston, TX; two step children, Ernest Cox, Jr. and Patricia Trosclair both of Port Arthur, TX; her brother, Curtis John Domingue and wife Eleanor of Corpus Christi, TX; her four grandchildren, Debbie Seago and husband Joe of Lake Charles, Kay Carter and husband Allen of Lake Charles, Leslye Hermes and husband Scott of Magnolia, TX and Jeff Austin and wife Leanne of Sugarland, TX; 2 step grandchildren, Corey and Casey Cox both of TX; 6 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest "Dudge" Cox; her grandson, John William Gregory; and her son-in-law, Gordon Austin. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 19, 2015 at 11 A.M. at Johnson and Robison Funeral Home Chapel with Father Charles McMillin officiating. Burial will be in Big Woods Cemetery in Edgerly under the direction of Johnson and Robison Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Friday, September 18, 2015 from 5-7 P.M. and will resume on Saturday from 9 A.M. until time of the service.
