Anthony John Ledano

Mr. Ledano was born in Lake Charles, LA and lived most of his life in Creole, LA. He was a graduate of South Cameron High School. Tony was a former board member of the Little Britches Rodeo Association and the Louisiana High School Rodeo Association. He is a current member of the Texas Longhorn Breeders Association and the Louisiana Cattleman Association. He was a retired project manager for Chevron after 38 years of service. He was a friend to all and was always willing to help. He was an avid hunter and a proud and devoted father and grandfather to his daughter and his two grandsons.

Mr. Ledano leaves to cherish his memory, one daughter, Kimberly Ledano and two grandsons, Kelby and Kyler George. The mother of his children, Martha Hebert Richard, three brothers, Billy Ledano of Lake Charles, Kenneth Ledano of Austin, TX, and Owen Ledano and wife Lisa of Sweetlake, LA, three sisters, Mirinda Morales and husband Ruben of Lake Charles, LA, Vicky Conner and husband David of Cameron, LA, and Mary Ledano and friend Cathy Chiles of Sulphur, LA, brother-in-law, Carlos Belanger of Lake Charles, LA, and godmother, Audrey Vaughn.

He is preceded in death by his fiancée Debra Ross, mother, Merilia Ledano, father, John Ledano, two brothers, John Richard Ledano and Joseph “Little Joe” Ledano, one sister, Theresa Ledano Belanger. His Grandparents, Elma and Raleigh Rutherford, one niece, Mechelle Ledano Willis, one nephew, Bryan Morales, one great niece, Scarlett Ritter and one great nephew, Scott “ Lil Scotty Willis.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, June 12, 2018 at 2:00 PM at Johnson Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Chenier Perdue Cemetery. Father Tony Fontenot and Father Scott Conner will be the celebrants. Visitation will begin on Monday at 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM with a Cursillo Rosary to be held at 6:00 PM in the funeral home. Visitation will continue at 1:00 PM until the time of services on Tuesday.
