Anthony Ray Lacour Sr.

On Sunday, January 16, 2022, surrounded by family, Anthony Ray LaCour, Sr., 69, of Iowa, LA, went home to be with the Lord.
Ray was born on October 19, 1952 to Lester and Betty LaCour. Ray was a native of Lake Charles, LA. He enjoyed spending time with his family, cooking, fishing, hunting, drag racing and having fun with the people he loved most. He was a dad, paw paw, brother, uncle and most of all, he was a friend. He was a giver and gave all that he had to his kids and grandkids.
Left to cherish his memories are his three children, Tony LaCour and wife Karolyn of Iowa, Katrina Aucoin and husband Michael of Moss Bluff, Brandon LaCour of Iowa; seven grandchildren; one great grandchild; mother of his children, Dorothy LaPointe; brother, John LaCour and Paula of Laredo, MO; six daughters that he raised as his own, Kimberly Olivier of Mobile, Ala, Juanita Pitt and late husband, Kyle of Fairhope, Ala, Ashley Dockens of Semmes, Ala., Laura Myers of Mobile, Ala., Elsie Broadhead and husband, Douglas of Semmes, Ala., Elizabeth Dockens of Semmes, Ala.; their mother, Juanita LaCour; sixteen grandchildren; a loving girlfriend, Yolanda Aranda; and many other family and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Bobbie and Linda; and one brother, Lester.
The family had a private ceremony to celebrate and remember his blessed life.
