Dry Creek – Archie D. Lee, 76, passed away Saturday, September 17, 2016 in a local hospital surrounded by his family.
Archie was born at home in Chloe on October 15, 1939 to the late Archie and Esther (Faulk) Lee. He was a graduate of Iowa High School and was a heavy duty diesel mechanic for Sweet Lake Land and Oil until he retired. He had a great love for all his pets but his favorite was Rook. He enjoyed fishing, camping and gardening,
He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Carolyn Bowman Lee; son, Don Lee; daughter, Christine Prudhomme, Donna Nevils and husband David, Brenda Newman; 9 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents and brother Robert Lee.
Funeral services are Monday, September 19, 2016 at 11 a.m. in Johnson & Brown Funeral Home with Rev. Rick Batchelor officiating. Burial will follow in Pine Hill Cemetery under the direction of Johnson & Brown Funeral Home. Visitation is Sunday, September 18, 2016 in Johnson & Brown Funeral Home from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. and will resume on Monday, September 19, 2016 from 9:00 a.m. until time of service in the funeral home.
