Arsene J. Anastasie, 86, of Lake Charles, LA died Saturday, April 23, 2016 in a local hospital.
Arsene was born on January 16, 1930 in New York, NY to Josef and Paulette Anastasie. He proudly served our country in the US Army for 26 years. Arsene received 2 Purple Heart Metals, 1 Bronze Star, 2 Army Achievement Metals, 7 Meritorious Metals, 7 Accommodation Metals, and various other decorations.
Those left to cherish his memory are his two sons, Arsene Anastasie Jr. and wife Darlene and Lorenzo Anastasie; one step daughter, Shrilda Bailey and husband Michael; five grandchildren ; and two great grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents; and one stepson, Michael Gradney.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date. Cremation has been entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home.
