Audrey Ann Lejeune

Audrey Ann LeJeune, 83, of Westlake passed away at 5:20 PM on Wednesday, December 9, 2015 in a local hospice facility.   Ms. LeJeune was born on March 23, 1932 in Mamou, LA and lived in Westlake most of her life. She enjoyed working for the CCOA bingo and loved to gamble in her free time. Ms. LeJeune enjoyed putting puzzles together but her passion in life was her grandchildren, Abby and Tripp.   Those left to cherish her memory are two daughters, Andrea LeJeune of Westlake and Daphnie LeJeune of Carlyss; two sisters, Jane Manuel of Ville Platte and Evelyn Ruthledge of Mamou; and her two adored grandchildren, Abigail Rose and Ricky “Tripp” Ward.   She was preceded in death by her parents, Eraste and Helen Guillory and nine siblings.   A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, December 12, 2015 in the Johnson Funeral Home chapel. A gathering of family and friends will begin at 11:00 AM until the start of the service.   The family wishes to extend a very special thank you to the staff at Harbor Hospice for their care and compassion and also to Johnson Funeral Home.   In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family for outstanding expenses.
