Barbara Ann Evans

Mrs. Barbara Ann Evans passed away February 6, 2017 at a local hospital.

Mrs. Evans was born in Lake Charles in 1948. She is a long time resident of Moss Bluff and graduate of Sam Houston High School. Mrs. Evans is a woman of the Baptist faith and worked at The Eye Clinic for sixteen years. Barbara loved to spend her time camping and on boat rides.

Mrs. Evans is survived by her husband Samuel Evans of Lake Charles; daughter, Stephanie Kennedy (Kart) of Ragley; two sons, James Drounett (Daphnie) of Westlake, and Van Drounett Jr. of Ragley; stepson, Philip Evans (Jesica) of Deville; sister, Delores Bourque (Leonard) of LeBleu Settlement; grandson, Brandon Kopp of Stephenville, TX; granddaughter, Sabryna Kennedy of Ragley; and a step granddaughter, Nanci Evans of DeQuincy.

She is preceded in death by her parents and son, Brandon Kopp.

Cremation has been entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home and a memorial service will be held at a later date.
