Barbara Ann Kile

Barbara Ann Kile, 76, passed away on November 22, 2018 at a local care facility.

Ms. Kile was born in Lake Charles and was a long time resident of Westlake. She was a Teller at Lakeside Bank and a Cage Cashier at Player’s Casino. In her free time she enjoyed playing bingo. She was a member of University United Methodist Church. Ms. Kile is remembered as an independent yet carefree person that always wanted to make others happy. Her family fondly remembers her laughter and her cheery personality will be missed.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory her son, Randy and wife Joy Poole; and grandson, Christopher Poole.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Bill and Mary Guidry; son, Danny Poole; and brother, Ron Guidry and his wife, Chris.

A funeral service will be held at Johnson Funeral Home on Monday, November 26 at 10AM. Rev. Katie Simpson will officiate. Burial will follow at Highland Memory Gardens. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Sunday, November 25 from 4PM until 7PM and will resume Monday morning at 9AM.
