Lake Charles – Barbara Ann (Devane) Harmon, born April 21, 1944, daughter of the late Daniel and Clara (McDaniel) Devane, passed away February 12, 2020, at the age of 75.
Barbara worked as a bus driver for the Calcasieu Parish School Board. She loved word games, traveling and going out to eat with family and friends.
She is survived by her daughter, Judith Townley of Bell City; son, James Ronald Townley; sister, Janet Gillebaard (Ben) of Homestead, FL; 2 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild. Barbara is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Ronald James Townley; siblings, Beverly; Linda; Lavergne; Betty Jo and Robert.
Funeral services are Saturday, February 15, 2020 at 10 a.m. in Johnson & Brown Funeral Home of Iowa with Pastor Hoye Folks officiating. Burial will follow in Lacassine Cemetery. Visitation is Saturday from 9 a.m. until the time of service at 10 a.m.
