Bell City – Bella Rose Hahn was born on December 10, 2010 exactly 2 minutes earlier than her twin sister Blaire Lillie Hahn. The girls were best friends from the very beginning. At the age of 6 years old Bella was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer. She fought hard for 4 years but this did not take away her sharp wit and humor, she always kept her family on their toes.
Bella loved animals most of all penguins and owls. She had a beautiful voice and loved to sing. Both girls attended Bell City High School and loved to learn.
The Lord called sweet Bella home on January 28, 2021.
She is survived by her mother Daphne Gary of Bell City; father, Valdo “Buddy” Hahn of Sulphur; twin sister, Blaire Lillie Hahn of Bell City; maternal grandparents, Charles and Linda Gary of Bell City; paternal grandfather, Bob Hahn of Sulphur; aunt and uncle, Jessica and John Guidry of Holmwood; brother and sister, Kylan White and Serenity Hahn of Sulphur.
She is preceded in death by her older brother, Tyler Scott Wilbur and paternal grandmother, Joan Hahn.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held in St. John Vianney of Bell City on Thursday, February 4, 2021 at 11 a.m. Rev. John Payne, Celebrant. Burial will follow in Lorrain DeRouen Cemetery under the direction of Johnson & Brown Funeral Home of Iowa. Visitation will be held in Johnson & Brown Funeral Home on Wednesday, February 3, 2021 from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m., with Rosary recited at 6:30 p.m. Visitation will continue on Thursday in St. John Vianney of Bell City from 9 a.m. until the time of service at 11 a.m.
