Mrs. Naquin was born in 1943, in Ville Platte and later made her home in Lake Charles, where she lived most of her life.
A woman of unwavering faith, she was a very active member of St. Margaret Catholic Church. She faithfully served as a Eucharistic Minister, generously gave her time teaching Confirmation classes, and attended daily Mass.
She devoted her life wholeheartedly to being a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She found her greatest joy in gathering with family and friends often.
Those left to cherish her memory are her children, Joana Gleitz (Steven), Delaina Beaugh (JC), Rachel LaFleur (Marvin), and Greg Naquin (Tammy); grandchildren, Crystal, James, Shane, Kristen, Laryn, Devyn, Daryn, Bryce, Brooke, Baylie, Blake, Brandon, and Emily; and numerous great grandchildren. She also leaves behind a very special caretaker that became family after a long dementia battle and was by the family’s side until the end, Alisha Cormier.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ferrel Naquin; a daughter, Belinda Monds; granddaughter, Lauren Baker; parents, Agnes and Stafford Jones, Sr; siblings, Stafford Jones, Jr. and Charlene Vidrine; son in law, Andy Baker; and her in laws, Ena and Gussie Naquin.,
A funeral mass will be held at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, March 4, 2026 at St. Margaret Catholic Church. Father Nathan Long will officiate. Burial will follow in Consolata Cemetery under the direction of Johnson Funeral Home of Lake Charles. Visitation will begin on Tuesday from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM with a rosary being recited at 6:30 PM. Visitation will continue on Wednesday from 8:30 AM until leaving for the church at 9:30 AM.
The family asks that you send plants in her memory instead of flowers because Mrs. Naquin could not keep flowers alive!
