Ben Alan Angerstein, Sr.

Ben Alan Angerstein Sr., 83, passed away on February 14, 2019.

Mr. Angerstein was born in Houston, TX and lived most of his life in Lake Charles, LA. Mr. Angerstein retired after 20 years as a Staff Sargent with the United States Air Force. He was also a Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Deputy for several years.

He is survived by two daughters, Deborah Thomas, and Donna May and husband David; son, Ben Angerstein Jr. and wife Tracy; and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Ben and Sylvia Angerstein.

A memorial service will be held at Johnson Funeral Home on Tuesday, February 19, 2019 at 1PM. The Very Reverend Tony Fontenot will officiate. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Tuesday, February 19 from 9AM until 1PM. Cremation has been entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home.
