Benjamin (Ben) Joseph Parton, 41 passed away from his earthly life on Sunday, May 24th, 2026 in Conroe, Tx.
Ben was born August 5, 1984 in Lake Charles, La. and resided the majority of his life in Moss Bluff/Ragley, La. with having recently moved to Conroe, Tx.
He honorably served in the United States Army from 2002-2006, stationed at Kileen, Tx. During his service he was deployed to Iraq serving with B Company, 1st Infantry Battalion, 9th Calvary Regiment during Operation Iraqi Freedom II.
Ben received numerous awards and medals for his service including a Purple Heart.
He was a talented craftsman and enjoyed time spent outdoors. He was always willing to lend a helping hand to someone in need. He enjoyed staying connected to his military buddies, as they shared a bond that was unspoken.
Ben was a beloved father, he cherished spending time with his son, teaching him trick of the trade and watching him play sports. He was always so proud of him and excited to see what his future held.
He is survived by his son Brayden Parton of Kingwood, Tx. Cherished Companion Daniel Parton and her daughter Kaidence Haines of Moss Bluff, La.; mother Christy Bonvillain of Moss Bluff, La., grandmother Betty Bonvillain of Moss Bluff, La. grandfather Robert (Bob) Bonvillain (Dianna) of Youngsville, La.; sister Miranda McCuller (Benji) of Moss Bluff, La. Niece and nephews (Macy, Jace and Tripp McCuller) and his devoted service dog "Chief" who will miss him dearly.
Rest in peace Ben, your memory will live on in our hearts forever, this is not good bye, it's till we meet again. For our Heavenly Father has called you home, your assignment here was done.

Funeral service will be held at Johnson's Funeral Home, Moss Bluff, La. Visitation will be held at 1:00 pm Service at 3:00 pm on May 29, 2026. A private Military burial will be at the Jennings Veteran's Cemetery at a later date.
