Bernice Marie Gary Hebert, born in Hathaway on July 27, 1927, daughter of the late Clofa and Durelia Landry Gary, passed away Sunday, December 9, 2018, at the age of 91.
Bernice enjoyed playing booray, going to casino to gamble and loved spending time with her family and friends.
Bernice is survived by her children, Raymond James Hebert (Jo Ann), Alice Faye Woods (Charles), Betty Breaux, Roger Dale Hebert (Vickie), Kenneth Lee Hebert (Debbi), Malcolm Lynn Hebert (Marilyn), Anthony Wayne Hebert (Vicki), Terry Jo Hebert, Walter Neil Hebert (Christy), Clofa Craig Hebert (Carla), Dewey Lawrence Hebert (Dottie), Huey Paul Hebert (Monica); 33 grandchildren; 58 great-grandchildren; 21 great great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents; sons, Eugene Hebert, Jr., Keith Dwayne Hebert; grandson, Nicholas Hebert; granddaughter, Christina Marie Hebert; great great-granddaughter, Avery Faye Golden; several brothers and sisters.
Funeral services are Wednesday, December 12, 2018 in Johnson & Brown Funeral Home of Iowa at 11 a.m. with Father Roland Vaughn officiating. Burial will follow in Old Ritchie Cemetery in Moss Bluff. Visitation is Tuesday from 5 p.m. – 9 p.m., with a cursillo rosary at 7:00 p.m. and resumes Wednesday from 8 a.m. until 11 a.m.
