Betty Jane Ardoin

Betty Jane Ardoin, 75, of Lake Charles, Louisiana, passed away on Thursday September 18,2025, surrounded by her loved ones. She was born on September 23, 1949, in Jennings, Louisiana, to Abbie Joseph and Beatrice Marie Duhon Ardoin.

Jane will be remembered for her kindness, humor, strong faith, love of family, and her passion for cooking and gardening. She dedicated her life to helping individuals with special needs find purpose and joy, and she lived with a mission to leave everyone with a full belly and a smile on their face. Jane truly never met a stranger.

Despite life's trials, she remained optimistic, childlike in her sense of wonder, and steadfast in her devotion to Christ. If you were in need, Jane would give you her last slice of bread, make you laugh with a silly dance, and say a prayer for you. She was a blessing to all who knew her and leaves behind cherished memories that will last a lifetime.

She is survived by her children, Robin Morales (Todd), Jamie Broussard, and Ashley Juarez (Mark); her grandchildren, Noah Broussard, Aryon Broussard, Jakin Morales (Shelby) and Brayson Nunez; siblings, JoEllen Abshire, Dianne Schexnider, Peggy Fontenot, Julie Ardoin, Christopher Ardoin, and Richard Ardoin. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Joseph Broussard and Parents, Abbie and Beatrice Ardoin.

A service to honor Jane's life will be held on Sunday September 21, 2025 at Johnson Funeral Home at 12:00pm. Visitation will begin on Sunday from 10:00am till time of service. A rosary will be recited at 11:30am. Internment will take place at Highland Memory Gardens. Friends and family are invited to attend and celebrate the beautiful life she lived.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Dementia Society of America in her memory.
