Betty Mae Duplechian, born in Sandusky, Ohio, on September 28, 1948, daughter of the late Elliot and Florence (Ludack) Hebert, passed away Monday, May 13, 2024, at the age of 75.
Betty, a graduate of Marion High School, worked at the Players casino & retired from L’Auberge casino in 2011. She enjoyed having lunch with friends, shopping, and movies, both old and new. She will be remembered for taking excellent care of her husband, Rodney through his lengthy illness. She was a devoted mother and grandmother.
She is survived by her son, Scott Duplechian (Shawnna); daughter, Amy Dowe (Blaise); siblings, Elliot Hebert, Jr., and Debra Carter (David); grandchildren, Trent, Shianne, Baily, Karly, Gracie, Aiden, and Campbell and 3 great-grandchildren.
Betty is preceded in death by her husband, Rodney James Duplechian; brothers, Ray and Sherman Hebert; dog, Mattie.
Visitation with family and friends will be held in Johnson & Brown Funeral Home of Iowa on Thursday, May 16, 2024 from 4 p.m. – 7 p.m.
Burial will be private.
