Betty Jean Dykes

Betty Jean Dykes, 82, of Sulphur, passed away at a local care facility. Betty was born to Clarence and Clementine Dupre. She loved to cook for her family and enjoyed her grandkids when they came to visit her. Betty enjoyed going to shop at flea markets and camping.

Those left to cherish Betty’s memory are her children, Jimmy Dykes (Ethel), Lawana Welch (Danny), Jody Dykes (Rachel); nieces, Krystal Chaison, Charlotte Johnson; 7 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.

Betty was preceded in death by her husband Joe L. Dykes; daughter, Christina Fontenot; 2 brothers and 2 sisters.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, November 7, 2023, at Johnson and Robison Funeral Home from 9 AM until 11 AM. with a private family burial to follow.
