Beulah Richard

Beulah Richard, 96, of Lake Charles, LA went to be with the Lord on Sunday January 1, 2017.

Beulah was born on March 11, 1920 to Fleurman and Ophelia Bertrand. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend who loved gardening, flowers, sewing and playing cards with friends. She was known for being a sweet and good tempered person by all those who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her husband, JB Richard; daughter, Catherine Richard and her parents.

Those left to mourn her loss and cherish her memories are her daughter and son-in-law, Brenda and Mike Crews of Grand Lake, LA; son and daughter-in-law, Darrell and Linda Richard of Temple, TX; daughter, Debbie Richard of Lake Charles, LA; 4 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

A Funeral Mass will be held at 1:00 PM Thursday January 5, 2017 at Our Lady Queen of Heaven Catholic Church with Msgr. Danny Torres officiating. Interment to follow in Consolata Cemetery. Family will receive friends at Johnson Funeral Home on Wednesday January 4, 2017 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM with a Rosary being held at 6:00 PM and again on Thursday from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM at the funeral home.
