Lake Charles – Billy Wayne Pettifield, 78, passed away in his residence August 18, 2017.
Born in DeQuincy on October 6, 1938 to the late George and Grace (Parker) Pettifield. Billy enjoyed reading & writing poems.
Billy is survived by his two sons, Michael & Charles Pettifield; brother, Randy Pettifield; sisters; Cynthia Mears, Linda Friese, Sandra Felice, Andrea Riley; 3 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Susan Pettifield; parents, George & Grace Pettifield; brothers, Charles, Eugene, Clyde, Willis & Dan Pettifield; sister, Joy Savage.
A gathering of family & friends will be Friday, August 25, 2017 from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. in Johnson & Brown Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Consolata Cemetery.
