Bonita Koppie Stanley

Bonita Koppie Stanley, 49, of Dequincy, LA passed away on May 13, 2021.

Bonita was born on February 22, 1972 to Leon and Lillie Koppie. She enjoyed crafting, tending to her rabbits and cats. She also loved reading her bible and spending time with her 9 grandchildren.

She is survived by her loving husband of 31 years, Dean Stanley; four children, Tenikka LeJuine and husband Jacob, Colton Stanley and wife Kayla; Scotty Stanley and wife Christie, and Jayden Stanley; 9 grandchildren; two siblings, Rick Koppie and wife Tonya and Zelpha Zerkle; father, Leon Koppie.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Lillie Trahan; son, Nathan Stanley; grandson, Jaxxton Stanley; stepdaughter, Dusty Avery; and one brother, Leon Harvey.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM on Sunday, May 16, 2021 at the Johnson Bayou Community Center. Visitation will be start at 3:00 PM and will continue into the night at Johnson Bayou Community Center on Saturday, May 15, 2021. Visitation will resume from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM on Sunday at the Johnson Bayou Community Center. Burial will be at Head of the Hollow Cemetery.

Pallbearers include: Colton Stanley, Scotty Stanley, Jayden Stanley, Jacob LeJuine, PJ Buxton, Seth Koppie. Honorary Pallbearers include: Rick Koppie.
