Hayes – Bonnie Breaux, 57, passed away in her residence April 30, 2015.
Bonnie was born in Lake Charles on January 8, 1958 to Forrest Lamar Reber and Shirley Ann Holland. She was a graduate of Schuylkill Haven High School in PA and attended Acadian Technical College for 2 years. Bonnie was employed by the U.S.D.A. for 12 years; Port of Lake Charles and a member of Waters Edge Church. She enjoyed traveling, hiking, camping, fishing, and being outdoors. She was a Gold Star Mother, having lost her son in Afghanistan.
She is survived by her father, Forrest Reber; daughter, Jesyca Thompson (Keisto); brothers, Tommy Reber, Ian Smith (Janette), Vernon Reber (Tiffanie), Harold Reber (Lisa) and Grant Reber; sisters, Karlene DiCello and Julia Johnson; grandchildren, Gavin, Dyllan, Hadley and Azaira; 14 nieces & nephews and 17 great- nieces & nephews. Preceding her in death are her mother, Shirley Ann Holland and son, Richard Schoener.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, May 3, 2015 at 11 a.m.in Johnson & Brown Funeral Home with Bro. David Ragland officiating. Burial will follow in Hayes Cemetery. Visitation is Saturday from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a rosary at 6 p.m. in the funeral home and will resume Sunday from 9 a.m. until the time of service. Pallbearers assisting in her service are Dustin Reber, Ryan Reber, Tyler Reber, Austin Reber, Timmy Reber, Jacob Chalker, Cody Reber, Lance Richard, Tim Chalker, Gavin Schoener, Dyllan Young and Harold Reber.
