Brady Paul Goos, 64, passed away peacefully at his home in Lake Charles, surrounded by his loving family on November 25, 2024.
Born on January 10, 1960, he lived a life marked by love, devotion, and integrity. Brady spent 30 years as an aviation technician at Northrop Grumman where he was well loved and respected by his band of brothers. He loved passing time at his camp in Toledo Bend, fishing, cooking at home in his shop, and hanging with his family watching football. He took great pride in building a legacy for his family, ensuring that his values, love, and hard work would be a foundation for them to continue and be well taken care of.
Those left to cherish his memory are, his beloved wife of 40 years and partner of 49, Pamela Goos of Lake Charles, LA; his daughter, Brooke Justice, husband Casey, grandson Jackson and step-granddaughter Jaelyn all of Vidor, TX; sister Dana Fleming and husband Daryl of Lake Charles, LA, along with many others from his large, devoted extended family.
He was preceded in death by his parents Walter and Delta Goos; and brother, Kim Goos.
Brady's funeral service will be held at 1:30 PM on Saturday, November 30, 2024, in the Johnson Funeral Home Chapel in Lake Charles. Msgr. Jace Eskind will officiate. Burial will follow at Goos Cemetery. Visitation will be held at Johnson Funeral Home on Friday, November 29, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM, with the Devine Mercy Chaplet (rosary) beginning at 6:00 PM. Visitation will resume on Saturday morning at 11:00 AM and continue until the start of the service at 1:30 PM.
Memorial donations may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
