Brenda Gayle Cart Louviere, 52, of Bell City, LA passed away Friday, October 06, 2017 in a local hospital.
Mrs. Louviere was born in Jennings, raised in Lake Charles where she attended LaGrange High School and has lived the past twenty-two years in Bell City. She had an admirable work ethic and colorful work history, having begun at Cintas Uniforms, AAA Cleaners, Calcasieu Parish School Board where she worked in the cafeteria and the past eight years at McDonalds, where she worked as a manager. Mrs. Louviere had an overwhelming love for her family. She was a devoted wife and mother, a softball mom to her daughter and friends and a second mom to countless many. She will be remembered for her selfless spirit, always putting others before herself; her kind heart, always welcoming any and all and her beautiful smile that will be so greatly missed. Her passion was playing BINGO! She also enjoyed playing card games and Yahtzee with her friends, family and most importantly, her grandchildren.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband, Kevin Louis Louviere of Bell City; two daughters, Amy Marie Cart Adams and husband Robert Douglas, Jr. of Hayes and Diana Gail Cart Heer and husband Travis of Lake Havasu, AZ; five grandchildren, Sean, Kaleigh and Olivia Adams and Conner and Addison Heer; one brother, Elmer Ray Cart, Jr. of Lake Charles; sister, Vicki Jo Cart Bailey of Lake Charles; father-in-law, Bud Louviere and wife Zelma of LeBleu Settlement; mother-in-law, Janet Derouen of LeBleu Settlement; brother-in-law, Chris Louviere and wife Ada of Iowa; sister-in-law, Tammy Louviere of LeBleu Settlement; many nieces and nephews and dear friends, Mary Pollard and Marie Fontenot.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Elmer Ray Cart, Sr. and EvaDell Meaux Cart; brother-in-law, Robert Bailey and a niece, Kathleen Ann Bailey.
Funeral services will be at 1:00 PM Thursday, October 12, 2017 in the Johnson Funeral Home Chapel. Reverend Otis Marsh will officiate. Interment will follow in Doucet Cemetery in Hathaway. Visitation Wednesday will be from 2:00 PM until 9:00 PM and Thursday from 8:00 AM until the time of service in the funeral home.
