Lake Charles – Brenda Logston, 53, passed away in a local care facility on Tuesday, June 28, 2016.
Born in Ragley on June 4, 1963, she was the daughter of Robert L. Busby and Audrey Disotell. Brenda was a cashier for Kings Plaza & Loves for over 20 years and enjoyed gardening and being on the river.
She is survived by her mother, Audrey Busby; fiancé, Carl “Lew” Lewis of Iowa; children, Frank Brandon Hebert of Lake Charles, Ashley Michelle Kaiser and husband, Brian of Plymouth, Wisconsin; siblings, Freddie Busby and wife, Ethel of DeRidder, Robert Busby of LeBleu Settlement, twin sister, Belinda Grove and husband, Bob of Iowa, Patricia Oden of Iowa, Pamela McClendon and husband, Michael of Moss Bluff; 7 grandchildren and special friend, Marlene Savoy.
Preceding her in death were her father, Robert L. Busby, Sr.; brother, Raymond Busby; sister-in-law, Mary Busby; niece, Tami Haselton; great-nephew, Clay Eaves.
Visitation is Saturday, July 2, 2016 in Johnson & Brown Funeral Home from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.; with a funeral service at 3 p.m., with Rev. Otis “O.B.” Marsh officiating.
Cremation will follow the service under the direction of Johnson & Brown Funeral Home.
