Brent Chesson, born in Welsh on November 27, 1967, son of the late Walter Olin and Dories (Hebert) Chesson, Sr. passed away in his residence on Sunday, May 12, 2024, at the age of fifty-six.
A graduate of Iowa High School, Brent was member of 1st Moss Bluff and worked as a slick line operator in the oilfield. He enjoyed deer and duck hunting, as well as woodworking and tinkering on different things.
A Celebration of Life will be held in Moments in Time, 300 S. Thompson Ave, Iowa, LA on Wednesday, May 15, 2024 at 6 p.m. Pastors Bill Saxby and E. J. McCann will officiate. A gathering of friends and family will begin at 5 p.m. and will end at 8 p.m. Cremation has been entrusted to Johnson & Brown Funeral Home of Iowa.
Brent is survived by wife of nineteen years, Shannon Chesson; daughter, Carlie O’Hara (Kyle); sons, Caleb Chesson (Alyssa Wingate), Jacob Daughenbaugh (Brianna), Lucas Daughenbaugh (Jacy); siblings, Walter Chesson (Sheila), Kent Chesson (Summer), Dennis Chesson (Catherine), and Wendy Chesson; grandchildren, Caden and Colten Daughenbaugh, Parrish, McCoy and Josette Chesson, Riley, Remington, and Reagan O’Hara; pet, Odie.
He is preceded in death by his parents, and sister, Jennifer Chesson Stewart.
