Brian Benoit

Brian Odel Benoit, 60, passed away in a local care facility on Monday, June 3, 2019.

He was born on October 11, 1958 to Fred Daniel Benoit, Sr. and Shirley Welch Benoit in Lake Charles, LA. He will be remembered as a loving husband, father and grandfather and devoted Christian man. He owned a successful trucking business and enjoyed hunting, fishing, and listening to country music. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

He is survived by his loving wife, Cindy Impastato Benoit; children, Heather Benoit, Heath Benoit (Ashley Gary), Justin Benoit, and Ethan Benoit (Jill); grandchildren, Colton Benoit, Olivia Matt, Savanah Landry, Madelyn Benoit, Haley Thompson, and Carter Thompson; brothers, Fred Benoit, Jr. and Tracy Benoit; and sisters, Judith Peloquin and Jane Achter.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Danny Benoit.

His funeral service will be held at Johnson Funeral Home of Moss Bluff on Friday, June 7, 2019 at 2 p.m. Rev. Mike Clark will officiate. Burial will follow the service in New Ritchie Cemetery. Visitation will be held at Johnson Funeral Home of Moss Bluff on Thursday from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. and will resume on Friday from 12 p.m. until the start of the service.
