Brunella Marie Landry, 61, went home to be with the Lord on August 3, 2025 in Lake Charles, LA. She was born on October 30, 1963 in Lafayette, LA to Clifton Harrison and Mary Alfred Lewis.
Brunella was a follower of Jesus Christ for 40 years. She enjoyed listening to worship, having impromptu bible studies, and sharing the Word of God with those she loved. She spent her days surrounded by her husband, children, and grandchildren & loved watching her family grow. She worked in healthcare and management and made lifelong friends in both industries. Her heart was dedicated to helping any and everyone she could. In her downtime, she loved watching movies, especially if talking animals were involved. She loved coffee in the morning and a cup of ice to munch on throughout the day. Her favorite scripture was the latter part of Nehemiah 8:10, "...And do not be grieved, for the joy of the Lord is your strength." She held on to those sacred words until the very end.
Those left to cherish her memory are her beloved husband of eight years, Tommy Landry; her children, TyJane Narcisse, Tiera Thomas (David), Damon Harrison (Alexis), and Joshua Lewis (Megan); her grandchildren, Alora Smith, David J. Thomas, Terronasia Minor, Jarius Powell, L'Darius Harrison, Destiny Harrison, Damon Harrison, Jr., Brielle Harrison, Damani Harrison, Damari Harrison, Dior Harrison, and Shanice Harrison; her siblings, Clifton Harrison, Jr. (Tara), Clifford Lewis, Yolanda Lewis, Veronica Cross (Darrel), Shirley Peters, Renee Peters, Albert Duhon, Carlston, and Ray Isadore.
She was preceded in death by her parents; Otis Harrison, Anthony Peters, Geraldine Harrison, Diane Lewis, Shirley Cameron, Raymond Landry and Mary C. Harrison (Anatole).
Cremation has been entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home of Lake Charles.
The family would like to give special thanks to everyone who made time out of their day to call and talk with Brunella as well as those who visited her in her final days. We would list you all, but there would be far too many to name.
