Brunella Mary Legnion Mcgee

Brunella Mary Legnion McGee, 83, of Reeves, Louisiana went to be with her Lord and Savior on May 24, 2017.

She was born November 9, 1933 to Louis Legnion and Ida Menard Legnion. She attended nursing school in Alexandria, LA and devoted her life to serving others. She will be remembered for her exceptional cooking, her love for quilting and for being a fair, but firm individual. Ms. McGee was a member of Dry Creek Baptist Church, a faithful servant, volunteering with the Gillis Mission and reading her Bible daily. She will also be remembered for her kind and giving heart and the countless charities she continued to support over the years.

Those left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Sheryle Guillory of Forest Hill, LA, Patricia McGee of Lake Charles, LA, Sandra Meche of Orange, TX; sons Roy Lee Broussard, Jr. (Juanita) of Ashville, NC, and Michael Broussard (Priscilla) of Reeves, LA; 11 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild; and two sisters, Norma Dugan (Jerry) of Lake Charles, LA and Shirley Sparkman of Carthage, Tennessee.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Wilson Legnion.

Cremation has been entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home.
