Bryan Dwayne Fontenot

Bryan Dwayne Fontenot, 56, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, November 20, 2018 at his residence.

Bryan will be remembered for the love and care he had for each of his family members, especially his son. He enjoyed fishing, motorcycles, and McNeese and LSU sports.

He is survived by his son, Damond Kraig Bonin; grandchildren, Hope, Sadie, and Kaylee Bonin; father, Herb Fontenot (Diana); mother, Shirley Castille Dunn (Rex Johnson); sisters, Elizabeth DiGiglia (John), Cindy Ottenweller (Danny), and Christy Jones (Henry); as well as, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, and uncles.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Ophelia and Willie Castille; and paternal grandparents, Loza and Jean Davis Fontenot.

His funeral service will be held at 1 PM at Johnson Funeral Home on Saturday, November 24, 2018. Monsignor Harry Greig will officiate. Burial will take place in Highland Memory Gardens following the service. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Saturday from 10 AM until the start of the service.

Pallbearers will be his brothers-in-law, Danny Ottenweller and John DiGiglia and nephews, Paul and Jason Burklow, Jake Ottenweller and Andrew Edwards.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Johnson Funeral Home on Bryan’s behalf.
