Lake Charles – Carl Leon Benoit, born December 20, 1945, the son of Louis and Hazel Benoit, passed away December 28, 2017, at the age of 72.
Carl was a maintenance supervisor at IMC. He enjoyed listening to French music and spending time with his grandchildren.
Carl is survived by his wife of 52 years, Geraldine “Jerrie” Benoit; sons, Shannon Benoit (Kelly) of Westlake and Timothy Benoit of Baton Rouge; siblings, Linda Myers (Phil) of Jennings, John Wayne Benoit, Barbara Benoit and Marie “Boo” Eskind, all of Lake Charles; grandchildren, Jordan and wife, Lexi, Jessica and Lanie Benoit and 4 great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents.
A gathering of family & friends will be Sunday, December 31, 2017 from 2 p.m. – 4 p.m. in Johnson & Brown Funeral Home - Iowa. Cremation has been entrusted to Johnson & Brown Funeral Home – Iowa.
