Lake Charles – Carl Eugene Matte, 57, passed away on January 1, 2016.
Mr. Matte was born in Orange, Texas on July 30, 1958 to the late Arthur Matte Sr. He was a longshoreman for 15 years and enjoyed spending time with his dog, Snooki.
Survivors include his children, Stephen Matte, Brennan Matte, and Alicia Matte (James); 1 brother, Arthur Matte Jr.; 2 grandchildren, Brayden Henriksen and Gaven Matte; and mother of his children, Peggy Hebert. He is preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Michael Matte Jr. and Anthony Matte and two sisters.
Visitation will be on Tuesday, January 5, 2016 from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. in Johnson & Brown Funeral Home. Cremation will be under the direction of Johnson and Brown Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Brennan Matte.
