Caroline Parks Dykes

Caroline Joyce Parks Dykes, 59, of Sulphur passed away Wednesday, June 07, 2017 in the comfort of her home.

Mrs. Dykes lived most of her life in Lake Charles.  She worked many years as a Security Officer at the Isle of Capri Casino.  Her favorite moments were spent reading, visiting parks and traveling.  Mrs. Dykes was a woman of faith and prayer.  She will be most remembered for her kind, generous heart and for always putting others before herself.

She leaves to cherish her memory, one daughter, Shonda Shae Parks of Fort Worth, TX; two granddaughters, Hannah Heinemann of Snohomish, WA and Deonna Denise Marie Parks of Fort Worth, TX; three siblings and her faithful furry companion, Baby Girl.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Avon Templeton and William “Sonny” Thomas Parks; grandparents, M. T. Parks, Sr. and Willie Hicks Parks; and four siblings.

Private interment services will be in Zachary, LA at a later date.

Memorial donations may be made to Mrs. Dykes’ family.
