Carolyn Ann Ballard

Carolyn Ann Ballard, 60, of Lake Charles, LA died Wednesday, February 25, 2015 in her residence surrounded by her loving family. Carolyn was born on January 21, 1955 in New Orleans, LA to Roy and Zoe Crews. Carolyn was a resident of Lake Charles, LA and worked 19 years as an Auditor at West Calcasieu Cameron Hospital. She loved spending time with her grandchildren Brock and Beau. She also enjoyed vacationing with friends. She was a dear friend to many, devoted mother to David, and an adored Sugar G to her grandsons. She is survived by one son, David Ballard and wife Heather of Shreveport, LA; two grandchildren, Brock and Beau Ballard; one sister, Jane Crews and husband Hartley Ray of Lafayette, Louisiana; and one brother, Roy Crews III of New Iberia, Louisiana. She is preceded in death by her parents, Roy and Zoe Crews; and her loving husband of 14 years, Dewey Ballard. Services will be at 2:00 PM Saturday at Johnson Funeral Home. Visitation will begin at 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM Friday, February 27, 2015 at Johnson Funeral Home. Visitation will resume at 8:00 AM until 2:00 PM Saturday, February 28, 2015 at Johnson Funeral Home. Burial will be at Consolata Cemetery. Rev Jonathan Brown will officiate services.
