Carolyn Marie Fontenot, born in Houston, TX on February 4, 1972, daughter of Robley Fontenot and Melinda Pousson Wimbrow, passed away on Wednesday, March 6, 2024, at the age of 52.
Carolyn enjoyed coloring, dancing, playing bingo, and loved Reese’s Peanut Butter cups.
She is preceded in death by her father, Robley Fontenot, and stepfather, John Wimbrow.
Carolyn is survived by her mother, Melinda Wimbrow; brother, Allen Atkins, and wife Kelly; niece, Sierra; nephews, Logan and Tyler; aunt, Cheryl Combs, and husband Richard; stepbrother, Jason Wimbrow and wife Trina.
A Celebration of Life will be held in Johnson & Brown Funeral Home of Iowa on Friday, March15, 2024 from 4 p.m. until 6 p.m., with a Celebration of Life service at 5:30 p.m. Cremation was under the direction of Johnson & Brown Funeral Home of Iowa.
The family would like to thank the Jeff Davis Living Center, Heart of Hospice and Our Lady of Lourdes ER and ICU for their compassionate care.
