Casey Ray Bragg, born on April 8, 1992 in Lake Charles, son of Tony Ray Bragg and Debra Carroll, passed away July 2, 2021, at the age of 29.
Casey, a graduate of Lake Charles Christian Academy and Sowela Technical, worked for Dow Chemical in Beaumont, Texas. He was an avid bowler, but most of all, Casey loved God with all of his heart.
He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Carl and Gail Bragg; maternal grandmother, Esther Brock Hale.
Casey is survived by his mother, Debra Carroll; father, Tony and Angie Bragg; daughter, Presley Ann-Elise Bragg; sister, Avery Fregia; grandparents, Ray and Jeannette Carroll; Wesley and Helen Furlow; fiancé, Shelby Sargent; aunt, Candee and Jeremy Doucet; uncle, David and Melissa Carroll; cousins, Dylan; Ryan; Lauren.
A Celebration of Life will be held in Livingway in Lake Charles on Saturday, July 10, 2021 at 2 p.m. Revs. Lance Stockman, Charles R. Nugent, and Pastor Brent Keating officiating. Cremation will follow the service under the direction of Johnson & Brown Funeral Home of Iowa. A gathering of friends and family will begin in the church from 11 a.m. until the time of service at 2 p.m.
