Catherine Lois Simon

Catherine Lois Simon, 69, of Carlyss, LA passed away on Thursday, May 27, 2021.

Catherine was born on October 29, 1951 in Lake Charles, LA to Dorcele and Cecile East. She was known most for her hard work, giving heart, and love for her family. Catherine was a nurse for 30 plus years serving the SWLA community at West Calcasieu Cameron Hospital and Holly Hill Nursing Facility. She enjoyed working in the yard, caring for her animals, and crabbing with her father.

Those left to cherish her memory are her two children, Marvin Dean Simon, and Michael Austin Simon; one grandson, Hadly Cash Simon; one brother, DJ East; and numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; four siblings, Helen Theriot, Gary East, Carrie Hewitt, and Delores Duhon.

A memorial service will be at 2:00 PM Saturday, June 5, 2021 at Johnson and Robison Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 12:00 PM until time of service on Saturday, June 5, 2021 at Johnson and Robison Funeral Home. Pastor Larry LaFleur will officiate.

Cremation was entrusted to Johnson and Robison Funeral Home.
