Catherine Mott

Catherine Richard Mott, 60, passed away in the comfort of her home on Thursday, December 14, 2017.  Catherine had the hobbies of cooking and crafting.  She enjoyed being an activity director at various nursing homes.  Catherine was a loving person and will be missed by many.  She loved to listen to music, especially Cajun and country. 

Catherine is survived by her husband of 40 years, Alous Mott; two children, William Anthony Mott and wife Holly of Biloxi, MS and Jeremiah Lynn Mott of Sulphur; two grandchildren, Elisabeth Grace Mott and Lillian Faith Mott; her siblings, Maryanne Parker and husband Jimmy of Singer, Carol Winstead and husband Mike of Deatesville, AL, John Michael Richard and wife Mary of Mandeville, LA, Larry Dale Richard and wife Rebecca of Oretta, LA, Linda Foreman of Sulphur and Chris Paul Richard and wife Victoria of Sulphur; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.  Catherine was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and one sister. 

Services for Catherine will be held on Monday, December 18, 2017 at 9:30 AM at Johnson and Robison Funeral Home in Sulphur with Pastor Marcus Wade officiating.  Burial will follow in Oretta Cemetery under the direction of Johnson and Robison Funeral Home.  The family will receive friends on Sunday, December 17, 2017 from 1-9 PM at the funeral home and will resume on Monday at 8 am until the time of service.
