Cathryn Marie Mallett Fuselier

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Cathryn Marie Mallett Fuselier, age 66, of Iowa, LA, who departed this life on November 16, 2025. Born on July 1, 1959, in Iowa, LA, Cathryn was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, and a cherished member of her community.

Cathryn graduated from Iowa High School and went on to become a skilled manager at Hathaway House, where she was known for her dedication and professionalism. More than anything, Cathryn cherished her time spent with her family. She was a loving spouse to her husband, Taylor Fuselier, and a nurturing mother to her three daughters, Gabrielle, Jacqueline, and Danielle Mallett. Her legacy extends to her beloved grandchildren, Keagan, Trey, Jaiden, Taylor Broxton, Hailee, Kaidan, and Louisianna Landry, who will forever carry her spirit in their hearts. 

Cathryn is also survived by her brother Chester Mallett, sister Janet Fuselier (James), and sister-in-law Dianne Mallett, who will miss her dearly. 

The family will have a Celebration of Life to honor Cathryn's Life on Wednesday, November 19, 2025 at Chester Lee Mallett's Home, 21059 S Frontage Rd, Iowa, LA 70647 from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. Friends and family are invited to gather to share memories, celebrate her incredible spirit, and pay their respects. 

Cathryn was preceded in death by her father, Wilfred Mallett, her mother, Leola Benoit, her brothers, Michael Mallett, Alice Hinton, Marcus Mallett.
