Cecil Ray Romero

Cecil Ray Romero 70, passed away on April 13, 2015 in a local hospital. Cecil served his country in the Navy on the U.S. Wasp Carrier. He worked for the Sulphur Police Department for 4 years and retired from the Calcasieu Parish Sheriff's Department after 28 years. Cecil enjoyed tinkering and keeping things organized. Cecil is survived by his son Tanner Cade Romero; daughter Tanya Harris and husband Mike, two grandsons; brothers Carroll Romero and wife Kathy and Randy Romero; brother in law Ervin Matte, numerous nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. He was preceded in death by his father Raymond Louis Romero; his mother Mildred Rogers Romero; his wife Judith Morgan Romero and a sister Barbara Romero Matte. Cremation was entrusted to Johnson and Robison Funeral Home in Sulphur.
