Cecile Trahan, born on February 22, 1949, daughter of the late Dewey Breaux and Eula Babineaux, passed away after a lengthy illness on Saturday, May 1, 2021, at the age of 72.
Cecile was a member of Moss Bluff Bible Church. She worked at Fantastic Sam’s for over 30 years as manager. Cecile loved being with her kids and grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents and brother, Mike Breaux.
Cecile is survived by her daughters, Dana Sonnier (Dwayne); Stephanie Snyder (Mark); siblings, Tommy Breaux (Barbara); Jason Breaux (Tracie); Carolyn Dupplissey (Bobby); 7 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.
A gathering of friends and family will be held in Johnson & Brown Funeral Home of Iowa on Thursday, May 6, 2021 from 5 p.m. – 8 p.m. Cremation has been entrusted to Johnson & Brown Funeral Home of Iowa.
